Quite Posh

I just got back from London this evening and it was sooo much fun! It felt like we were there for a week because we did so much. We had Friday afternoon, and all day Saturday to explore the city. We saw almost everything that we wanted to see, but there is still so much more to see! We spent most of our time lost, but it was the journey that was the most fun! We got the hang of using the Tube and bus system, but we mainly walked everywhere. My feet are tired! Also, it rained off and on both days. Friday night, we were on our way back to our hotel and it started pouring and I was with 4 other girls. 3 of us had umbrellas. When it started to rain, 1 umbrella broke, so we were down to 2. Then mine randomly collapsed and it drenched my friend and I. At that point, I felt like I could literally swim upward in the rain!! it was crazy and we were sooo wet, but it was really funny :)

It was funny because last night, when we were on our way back to our hotel, a woman asked my friend Chelsea and I if we were locals. She asked us if we knew how to get to Southampton Street. We told her that we weren't from London, but we were actually able to give her directions because we had been lost on that street earlier! She said that she lived in London, but she still gets lost all the time. We were excited to know that we somewhat blended in with the locals and it was fun to be able to give her directions!

It was also awesome to see the fashion. So many cute shoes and boots and jackets! 

Today, we went to Hampton Court and got to explore and go on tours. It was awesome to get to see the places that we are studying about in class!

My classes are going well so far. I have a lot to catch up on from being gone this weekend. This semester is going to fly by! 

Yep, I am over my jet lag, thank goodness! It still isn't fun to get up in the mornings though :)
